Laura Coburn is the President of Coburn Design, Inc. a design studio specializing in tourism, retail, industrial and non-profit communications and design. Coburn Design produces brochures, catalogs, books, ad campaigns, corporate identity packages, annual reports and newsletters. Coburn also offers additional marketing services such as campaign planning, media buying and web site development.
Coburn currently serves on the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce and the Auburn YMCA-WEIU Board of Directors, and is Secretary of the Upstate NY Chapter of the AIGA - the professional association for design.
Coburn has been a presenter for the Cayuga County Tourism Office matching funds workshop, the Cooperative Extension's Small Business Series, Women in Business Network and the Cayuga County Arts Council's Art is Your Business Conference. She acted as Master of Ceremonies for the Central New York Home-Based Business Conference, as well as the American Red Cross Great Heroes Awards Event and was interviewed on national radio in 1999 for the "Entrepreneurs: Living the American Dream" series. She also has presented seminars on branding and e-marketing to assist small businesses owners in recognizing marketing as an integral aspect of their business. Laura recently assisted in facilitation at a retreat for the Planned Parenthood Rochester-Syracuse Region.
